Memorial

Memorial

In honor of Jennifer, a memorial has been made to remind those who knew and loved her to remember her life and passion for living.

It was her desire not to have the family visit her remains in a graveyard, but instead have a unique experience to remember her in an emotionally and significant way.

The location of the memorial was chosen due to its proximity to the North Head lighthouse where Chris proposed to Jennifer on December 2, 1992.

Her wishes were to be cremated and to have her remains placed in the ocean near the lighthouse. The lighthouse perched on a cliff on the Pacific coast of Washington has spectacular views of nature and sunsets. This setting will allow family and friends to visit and gaze out towards the water and remember Jen's zest for life and in her faith and belief that her life was short - but full of experiences, love and purpose.

Her urn was placed into a granite cube encasement which was dropped at specific coordinates approximately 1/2 mile from shore.
